Hotel Songjiang akan menjadi sebuah hotel lima bintang yang terletak di dalam Resort yang indah berisi air kuari berhampiran dengan Shanghai di China, dan dijangka siap pada Mei, 2009. Shangaiist mengatakan, "Atkins, telah memenangi pertandingan antarabangsa untuk merekabentuk sebuah hotel lima bintang Resort yang ditetapkan dalam lingkungan kuari berisi air yang indah berhampiran daerah ke Shanghai Songjiang di China. Ia konsep rekabentuk yang menakjubkan diilhamkan oleh air semulajadi dan ciri-ciri landskap kuari yang menarik. Kini Hotel Songjiang baru menjadi tarikan yang kerana kehijauannya. Walaupun ia mungkin kelihatan agak sainsfiksyen, hotel ini telah direka untuk dunia hijau yang sebenar, dengan banyak ciri-ciri yang mampan.
Hotel yang dicadangkan telah direka oleh firma Atkins, firma yang sama yang telah membawa kita bangunan seperti Pile of Boxes Tianjin dan Pusat Dagangan Dunia Bahrain. Di resort ini, 400 katil akan ditempatkan di 100-meter dalam kuari yang terletak di dalam kawasan dan akan mengandungi restoran, kafe, kemudahan sukan, malah kawasan awam dan bilik tetamu di bawah air. Air akan memainkan peranan penting dalam reka bentuk, yang diketengahkan di dalam banyak kawasan di sekitar hotel.
